Laser Cut Loom

I love a quick hand held art project that is fun and accessible. I wanted to make little woven coasters with some cheap acrylic yarn I had laying around. So I first made a loom with some stiff cardboard and that worked fine, but I wanted something a little more sturdy (and reusable).

Then I found this Laser Cut Mini Frame Loom from Instructables so I went to my local maker space to cut out the Loom. Since it’s such a small loom, I actually only used the warp frame, two of the heddle bars, the reed (or comb), and the needle.

My favorite mug from ADanielPottery resting on a new woven coaster.
